Please Help! Still cannot proceed with WINDOWS 7 installation
A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD , or USB Flash drive Please insert it now
Note if the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive you can safely remove it for this step

I have a Aurora R4 recovery driver disk, i tried to insert after taking out Windows Home Premium 64 bit disk in hopes it would pick up a driver needed.
in my BIOS settings i have UEFI and Legacy but no "UEFI and AHCI" setting. I have tried to boot from legacy to DVD drive ... UFEI to boot changing boot order to DVD above hard drive... but i keeo getting this error.
I was away on vacation and my little brother decided to install Windows 8.1 pro on my Aurora which came with Win 7 Home premium 64 bit originally. he ruined my recovery Alien respawn will not work as it says the recovery is broken, i have even tried system restore but the Recovery drive seems to be there but not accessible

If your installing Win 7 then change BIOs to legacy and ACHI after wiping your drive.
If your installing win 8 then use UEFI with legacy OP rom select and fastboot disabled (Also AHCI)

Hi, do you or did you have more than one hard drive?
Sounds like the drive still has RAID format left over, I have come across this problem before.
You can try to reset the drives to the old RAID format or if you want to keep them separate (I suggest you do) then try running a hard drive wiping program, I use some old program called whitecanyon which overwrites the entire HDD with 1's and 0's (I think!!!) - I'm pretty sure any software that completely erases every part of the HDD will work.
Once you have done this windows will install correctly.
