RealTek Audio on Windows 10

Running Windows 10 on a Dell X51 R2.  Upgraded recently from Windows 8.1, upgrade process was smooth and problem-free with one exception.  There was no sound after the upgrade but this was documented as a potential upgrade problem, reinstalled the driver after the upgrade and sound was back to normal....EXCEPT for the graphic equalizer and presets.  When selecting the Equalizer, the frequencies do not display.

Is anyone having this problem or know of a solution ?  The current driver is the one from the Dell site for Windows 10 for the above hardware configuration.

Hi,

What options do you show in Playback Devices and what do you have set as default?

There are (4) items:

#1  nVidia HDMI Output Port(0)

#2  nVidia HDMI Output Port(1)

#3  Speakers/Headphones

#4  Realtek Digital Output

Item #3 is the default.  I tried making item #4 the default but there is no sound when I do this.  The graphic equalizer frequencies and presets are not available with either #3 or #4.
