TactX Mouse Problems
I've been having problems with my TactX mouse - which was a gift. The left click cannot click and drag any longer - it keeps thinking I released the mouse button when I actually didn't. It also often recognizes double clicks where there are none. I am severely disappointed since I know it was purchased in January (it's early March now).
I bought this mouse separately from my computer, so it does not have a service tag.
How can I get a replacement?
Oh and the cable is all frayed up. But this is more cosmetic than affecting the function of the mouse.

I HAVE A SOLUTION!!!! after about a month of having this rare issue i started having it every day and soon after i had it every click, but not any more! just dismantle the mouse (not recommended if still under warranty) and then add a small bit of super glue to the underside of the left click (small post looking part) let this dry and it will act as another layer of plastic making the 'post' longer by about 1mm, this has solved my issue, but keep checking up on the mouse while the glue dries (mine took a while, not sure why) and insure that nothing sticks together, but if done right, no issues about the mouse releasing your click, as of the double clicking issue i have never experienced it and will keep you updated if i do come accross it and fix it! the 5 screws to open the mouse are under the front, back and right gliding pads, BE CAREFUL when removing them, i seperated the gliding side from the tape on my front one and it never went back together correctly, although no issues yet. this also helped me as i removed the two weights in the top of the mouse to make it lighter and now i have speed beyond recognition! so please enjoy and help others that encounter this issue! its a good mouse with a small but lethal flaw, so please help spread the word!
