Upgrading an Alienware X51 R2 Video Card
So i've been thinking about upgrading my alienware x51 video card but I just needed some help, i was wondering if this card could work on my system
my current specs are:
Intel i5 - 4430 CUP @3.00 GHz
Geforce GTX 645
My power supply is the 240w, but im honestly not sure if it might be 330w as i bought the computer a while ago and reinstalled windows. I don't exactly know where to check the watts though. :/
but the card i was told to purchase was this card
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Mini ITX Overclocked 4GB GDDR5 PCiE Video Card GV-N970IXOC-4GD
So i was just wondering if this card will work with my computer, thanks in advance

You should be looking at reference GPUs. Examples below.
PNY, ASUS, MSI, EVGA, and more (you can google for the rest).
My vote goes towards the PNY GTX 970.
You have the 240w PSU with you as the 330w PSU was only for the GTX 660, GTX 670 / GTX 760 ti, GTX 960, and R9 270(x). You do need the 330w PSU for the GTX 970. You can buy one from Dell or newegg.

My vote is the EVGA 04G-P4-1970 a Reference Clocked 9½" card. EVGA has a great warranty.
I'd also vote for the PNY. The ones I looked at where 9¾" and had a mini-HDMI that requires an adapter.
F.S. Bench: Stock Reference Clock GTX 970 with no OC.
Don't forget that MadVR upscaling with a 970 is something to behold.
Requires a 330-Watt AC Adapter, Dell Part# 332-1432

Axial fan designs allow heat into the case.
X51's SFF design require a centrifugal fan that ejects heat out the back.
330 watt power supply is mandatory.

Do you have any specific graphics cards that I should get? Or are these just things that I should be looking for when purchasing a new card?
