Dear Team,
I have Alienware 15 R2 laptop which is making beep noise 4 times and it's not starting up. All light were working fine only it's not displaying anything and it's beeping 4 time in every 5 seconds. Before it was working fine. When I opened back panel to clean Dust near RAM channel. And I removed both the RAM and again inserted well. And after that I closed the back door. And when I turned on it started making beep sound. Can someone help in this.

Hi @Jitendar-yadav thanks for putting problem into context. Beep 4 times is Memory (RAM) failure. You have answered your own question by playing around with the RAM cards and the 15 R2 is saying that they are not found. Please revisit the RAM cards and take them out to clean the electrical connectors. Wipe with a dry lint free cloth (no water, no solvents) to remove surface contamination. Use a strong light to look into the RAM slots and remove any debris, etc. Carefully reseat the RAM cards, do not use excessive pressure, they should slide all the way in, and secure. The 15 R2 should start, it may run a test on the RAM as if it has found it for the first time. As the RAM was previously working fine, you may choose to cancel this test.
