16X Aurora AC16251, Undervolt Protection toggle option request
Can we please have an option in the BIOS to disable the Undervolt Protection? Or at least let the users undervolt the CPU if possible in the Overclocking Option tab? Some other manufactures give the users these options. Can we also get it for Alienware?
Thanks.

When the new AWCC 6.9.x.x is released, let us see what/if changes you see in the BIOS.

Spoke to Dell this morning via live chat. Undervolt Protection was put into place due to the Pludervolt Vulnerability. I made a request to add a toggle in the BIOS to disable this feature or at least let users undervolt by more than -0.020V
Whether or not this will be passed on to the engineers who develop the BIOS is uncertain. But seeing as most other manufacturers like MSI, ASUS etc have this option. It be nice if Dell were to give users this option at the users risk to toggle / tune.
I hope someone from Dell will see this and implement this feature.

Perhaps, implement an acknowledgment, that shows up when enabling undervolting functionality in the BIOS, informing the user, that the system may become vulnerable and unstable.
By enabling this feature, the User consents that Dell may not be held responsible for any damages that this may have caused.
@DELL-Chris M is it possible for Dell to review the possibility of implementing something like this?

The Alienware platform team is aware of this thread and the request. That is all we can do as Forum Liaisons.
