17 R4, AlienFX no longer installed, AWCC doesn't help

Hi!

I have a Alienware 17R4, about 4yrs old. The AWCC appears to have changed and I can't find AlienFX on it anymore so I can turn off or change the colors of the LED lights. Additionally, there's no icon available in the taskbar. What should I do?

Hi @Tony_Pain that is disappointing, please delete Dell's AWCC and OC Controls, Restart (not Shut Down) so that this change is saved, after Restart visit Drivers & Downloads and install an Old version of AWCC that you know worked. Restart (not Shut Down).

Open local admin account and use Revo Uninstaller Free to delete (AWCC, OC Controls) followed by its advanced scan to completely remove these applications.

Now nothing to do with the Alienware CC or OC will install
