17 R4, Alienware/Dell software not installing

Alienware 17 R4

Alienware 17 R4

On 2017 Alienware 17 R4 laptop I had a motherboard issue so I went back to Alienware and got a new board. Since then windows has been acting strange not updating at all. So I reinstalled Windows. Now windows is working great but when I try to reinstall Alienware/dell software nothing loads. Command center, update, Support Assist, nothing it either says can't be installed or says it installs but just crashes on loading. Anyone have any ideas? I tried doing to support assist troubleshooting deleting files also with Command center but still nothing. Its a fresh install so nothing could be conflicting.

Hi @spunge9000 welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.

Please run Reliability Monitor and wait for creation of event timeline. How to use Windows Reliability Monitor to identify software issues | Dell USThis will determine if there are any problems with the replacement motherboard and the new installation of Windows operating system + Windows Update.

Please try fixing the windows operating system using my PowerShell process described in Audio Driver Issues - Troubleshooter always resets these to work - Dell Community. Thank you.

Thank you for speakign with me. Tried both your suggestions reliability monitor seems ok. The only issue showing was support assist not installing. Chkdisk sfc scan didn't show any issues both went through. Also Alien command center states installation package is not compatible with this platform.

Also, I have downloaded everything directly from the R4 downloads page at Dell.
