17 R4, audio driver May 2019 is older version?
The latest Audio driver (Realtek ALC3266) offered for AW17R4 on DELL Drivers & downloads is
If you click on the "Older versions" link it tells you the following:
Notice the conflicting version numbers and release dates!
In order to find out what the newest Audio Driver really is, I went to the Realtek homepage. Looks more stylish now. Haven't been their for a year or more. Surprisingly, I can't find any of the drivers for ALC-3266 anywhere on their download site.
Are they no longer supported by the manufacturer?
Currently I have installed version 6.0.1.8536 (Sep-11-2018), which gets automatically installed by Win10 (Home).
What is going on? Thanks for any clarification/suggestion/help/reply.
PS: My AW17R4 (Mar 2017) worked fine the last two years (a few thousand of hours of gaming), battery failure (replaced under warranty), bit high CPU temperature, considering repasting.

This has been corrected on the Dell Drivers & downloads webpage. Now Audio driver (Realtek ALC3266) version 6.0.1.8351, A05 is shown as the driver to install.

Try using this driver for the audio, it should work properly.
