17 R4, New Power Button Ribbon Cable?
Can somebody please advise me where I can get this part? I found on ebay but all are selling with the Power Button Circuit Board. All I need is the little white Ribbon cable.
Its for an Alienware 17 R4.

I just fixed mine by running a soldering iron on the extra cable exposing the copper lines. I was honestly surprised it worked. Cuz you can't find that small power button ribbon cable for the 17r4 anywhere. Hope this post helps.
Good luck. Ps if you do happen to find an extra cable let us know where you got it. Thanks

Hi @Salan56 it is pointless looking at the Alienware 17 R4 Service Manual for part numbers. The Dell-Alienware-Power-Button-Ribbon-Flex-Cable has printed part numbers, but users do not post them. The same cable might be used in many Alienware Laptops, but there is no look-up table. What is part number on your cable?

My Alienware 17R4 power button ribbon cable has a sticker that reads:
"BAP20NBX00020B00CV"
I didn't find anything on Google with that.
