The CPU and GPU are soldered onto the motherboard, which is designed to fit inside the Alienware 17 R4 laptop. Dell Alienware 17 R4 Motherboards | Dell Alienware 17 R4 Laptop Parts (parts-people.com).  

The Alienware 17 R5 motherboard would provide an upgrade: Dell Alienware 17 R5 Motherboards | Dell Alienware 17 R5 Laptop Parts (parts-people.com). 

Look on eBay to purchase working Alienware 17 R4 or 17 R5 laptop.
