17 R4, weird fan noise
Hi,
I have an Alienware 17 R4 and recently i have started getting weird fan noise from the left side of the laptop where the fans are installed.
I have cleaned the fan but the noise is not going also looked if something is stuck but it was free from anything and nothing is stuck near the fan.
I am attaching a audio clip for you to understand that this is not normal fan noise and i am worried as i run any heavy application the noise becomes loud and unbearable.

The noise does sound awful in the video. You ran Dell On-board ePSA diagnostic to check the Fan and the other hardware within the computer ? If no, follow the step below:
1. Power off computer
2. Power on computer, quickly start tapping F12 key continuously until you see Preparing One Time Boot Menu in right corner of screen. In Dell Preboot menu, select Diagnostic.
After quick tests, select Fan, and then click Thorough Test Mode. Report back any error code on the fan.

Also, check the Event Log after the fan test.
