17 R5, CPU fan does not respond correctly

Hello.

My laptop - Alienware 17 R5

Suddemly start to shutdown from time to time. No visible reason for that - no overheat, or performance event related. After shutdown sometimes start diagnostic tools, make the scan and say that everything correct. I try to clean the cooler system, but it was actually clean - I use it only 4 month or so.

Also I try to switch all possible related options in BIOS -> no effect.

Please help

Hi,

Please try running a PSA test from the Boot menu. You can follow the steps on this video to run this test. Let us know if you receive any errors.

It's a RAM.

So, I start this test several time and make a video's for it. I can share if you need that.

Every time basic test finish with no issue (CPU and both fan test goes OK). Then he say "Do you want full test?" and I say OK, and it shut down on memory check.

Then, I just change places of two memory stick and it stop working at all, blue light flash, then dead, when press power on button.

I switch them back and it start to work again (instead of shut down of cause).

It make sence, because it shut down on big consumption of memory (what always happend on current games and softs).

No, it's not a RAM.

Although, my RAM slots are brocken too >_<

Memory sticks itself work fine and pass the tests.
Better do not touch it next time.

By the way, I fully deconstruct, clean it and change thermopast, it not help.

No any visible defects was found.
