17 R5, lights and some keyboard keys not working

Hi,

I purchased this laptop about 2 years ago. I just recently started running into multiple issues.  My lights on my laptop started to act weird then just turned off all together.  A few keys on my keyboard are now also not working.  specifically the Mute key (fn + f3) specificly and the page up (page down is fine) as well as the ~ key.

I've tried reinstalling alienware CC center as well as make sure i did a clean install of the latest software.  I'm running out of options so I wanted to make a post here.  I've seen similar issues posted here but never a solution to it.  

The computer is in near pristine condition.  I keep it very well kept as well as dust out of it regularly so this shouldn't be related to damage.

This computer is very important for me to get my work done, so getting this solved is top priority.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
