17r4 looping on a windows update, & boot issues

Question

I just got the 17r4, and successfully upgraded the HDD to a SSD. I had been running fine for weeks, took a windows update last night, and now started looping during update process, the circling dots on black screen over and over. followed some basic procedures to break the loop, but nothing, so

I was in the process of looking to reload windows, but have no recovery options, or back up, that have suddenly disappeared apparently. To make things worse, the system will not boot up to safe mode now. I get a message saying operating system not found. The HDD was removed/replace weeks ago, so only have 2 M.2 SSD. message goes on to say check cable connection! PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM. reinserted SSD, so guessing my boot options need updating First.

I have downloaded the Dell OS recovery tool to another notebook, and created the flash drive to restore my windows OS to default settings. I am ran the ePSA Pre-boot system Assessment test to ensure everything is still good, passed short and long tests. Plan to contact online support once all this is completed.

Contacted tech support by phone, and they pushed a fix that would cost me money. I contacted both phone and online support, they were more interested in gaining access to my other notebook and not looking at the Alienware notebook, not to mention only resolve the issue that would cost money. All over an odd windows update looping issue. SO disappointed with tech support on the phone and online. I was able to get up in safe mode with networking and not one wanted to dial into the system.... I just bought my last alienware system. I am not sure why you forum gurus did not help, you have been brilliant in the past, with all my issues and questions. This has been a very shady experience. I have requested a return, and will return my 17r4 tomorrow for a full refund.
