18 Area-51 AA18250, trackpad light timeout
I love my new 18" area 51 laptop. However, I'm extremely annoyed that the trackpad light times out after a few seconds and stays off unless you touch the trackpad. My previous alienware (17 R5) had an option in the BIOS to keep the trackpad on, but I could not find this on the area-51. Is there any way to keep the lovely looking trackpad on? The blinking is kind of driving me crazy.

Turn on advance settings in the Bios, then under Integrated Devices you will see Touchpad Backlight. You'll have the choice of Disabled, Always On, or Auto off (10 seconds).

@FrancoDT In the end a BIOS update was required which added the option you described!
Works perfectly now with lovely lighting!
