18 R1, Graphic Card Advice
Hi guys,
I used my alienware 18 R1(if not mistaken) since 2014. currently my graphic card seems got issue. my screen became full of green dots all in sudden. I am using GTX880M Dual. i wonder can i change/upgrade the graphic card?
Need advice.

Yes you can upgrade your card. The 980M is the easiest upgrade and is a much stronger card than the 880M. You can also upgrade to a single GTX 1060 or 1070 and @Alienware Area-51 ALX 2006 has apparently put a RTX 2080 in his 18.

It’s possible to put the 2080 in mine as I’ve used a card from a Clevo.
