Dell's Alienware Area-51m R1 is an enthusiasts delight and the Area-51m R2 even more so. It is doubtful that there will be an Alienware Area-51m R3 laptop because sufficient items were not purchased, to ensure that this enthusiasts laptop series continues. Many enthusiasts purchase a kit of parts and build their own customised laptop, desktop, workstation, etc.
Marketing rhetoric and Dell's contractual commitments are not the same.

Dell return policy states that a refund is only allowed inside the first 30 calendar days from the original Dell invoice date.

I'm so sorry about the issue but there is sadly no refund for the laptop. What are your current specs?
