Alienware R5 with i9 issues with bios upgrade

I just bought an Alienware 17 with latest i9.  During set up it updated the bios and after that developed a series of issues.  Would not detect Tobii eye tracking hardware and had to do a reinstall, video play back was spotty, Steam games were intermittently working and having to be reloaded,  Alienware command center intermittently works, Tobii game hub has to be reinstalled each time I want to play a game that supports eye tracking, and Camera was no longer recognized and had to be reinstalled.  Support was very helpful in fixing the eye tracking and camera but seems to have lots of glitches since the bios upgrade.  I was curious if anyone else is having this much issue with the new laptop?
