alienware sound center not working

sound center is very buggy recently that or the realtek sound card as it freaks out for certain programs 

but when i am using sound center if i click off the default audio settings page and go to say the microphone page and click back it says there is no speaker device this happens if im just using computer speakers or if something is plugged in to aux. 

13r3 (sept 2017 i it matters)

and yes ive reinstalled the driver and sound center several times.
