Area-51m R2, F12 boot menu
Hello there, I'm a freshman for the operating system and BIOS or something like this, so forgive me for the wrong language I may use.
Recently, I want to open the hardware self-check on my Alienware laptop, but I press F12 instead of F2 by mistake, when the laptop was starting, it took a longer time than usual to boot the windows, and the most strange thing is, when I got into Windows, nothing was showing on the taskbar even including the time and date. Anyone knows if this is normal or what would happen to my laptop if I press F12 rapidly when the laptop was starting (without plugging in install media)? Thanks!

I'm not emphasizing the ‘time and date’.
I'm just saying that my computer got into a state with errors, after pressing F12 rapidly before the the computer was booted. (I don't know what the exact name was this called, I just press F12 rapidly)
The errors made the time and date unable to be displayed in the operating system, I wonder if it would bring a negative influence to my computer.
And I also wonder what kinds of boot modes I have here?
Update=Resolved-As per the last message, were you able to perform the step to get to the BIOS (F2) or the hardware screen (F12)?
As suggested, you would need to repeatedly tap on the respective key immediately when you see the Alien logo to get to the BIOS or hardware test page.

Hi @YXu2416 at Alien logo splash screen, F2 and F12 text appears in bottom RH corner of screen. Press and hold down F12 key to enter boot menu window. Move cursor using up and down keys until Diagnostics is selected. Press Enter key and ePSA Diagnostics window opens.

Hi @YXu2416 sorry, do not understand. What is your Model & Revision. There are different versions of Boot mode. Please share F12 image, thanks.
Time & Date is BIOS setting. Please update BIOS.

I mean, I press F12 before the diagnostics was booted, and my computer was booted into an unnormal state with no taskbar information showing on the bottom of my computer, I just wonder if this would cause further influence on my computer or cause some disorder in my computer, etc.
