After incessant crashes and BSODs I decided to reinstall Windows via Support OS Recovery.

After Windows 11 is installed (not without problems, btw), I am now unable to install device drivers or desktop applications. The error is always about "permission denied".

I now have an expensive brick with pretty lights.

I have gone through every single diagnostic (most of which won't install anyway), every manual check of system settings, run "sfc /scannow" and all the rest of it. To no avail.

I have reinstalled Windows more than a few times, using the built-in Windows Reset and Support OS Recovery.

Can ANYONE tell me how to get out of this trap? I want my machine back!
