Only computers have a service tag. Accessories are usually warrantied for a limited time. See this-

Yeah, it has a 2-year warranty which it is within. I want to know how to submit a claim though, and I don't see anything about that on that page.

Hi @BrandonG33 welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.

The Dell Service Tag is a 7‑character identifier that is unique to your product, and it is the best ID when communicating with Dell. However, the AW510H Headset does not have a Service Tag. Many users are having problems getting warranty support for their AW510H Headset. Dell responders frequently fail to know that some peripheral items do not have a Service Tag or that Dell provides a 2‑year warranty.

How to find a Dell Service Tag (Official Dell Tech Support) - Updated - YouTube says many peripheral items do not have a Service Tag.

Support for Support for Alienware 7.1 Gaming Headset | AW510H | Service Events | Dell US says to detect Service Tag, Can't find it? Detect your PC's Service Tag.

Alienware 510H 7.1 Gaming Headset User's Guide (dell.com) Warranty information on page 20 says "The Alienware 510H 7.1 Gaming Headset carries a 2-year limited hardware warranty. "

Please visit your online Dell account and create Service Request so that Dell Support 'officially' knows that their Dell AW510H Headset has a problem to fix under its 2‑year warranty. Provide all the purchase information, invoice, photograph of packaging information and its warranty, etc. Include your PC's system Service Tag.

I’m with this user. I’ve looked all over and don’t see anywhere to begin a replacement warranty claim for accessories. I called 3 numbers. Got transferred multiple times. Supervisor called me back said he’d begin replacement process. Transferred me to someone else who said they won’t warranty it. So $90 for 9 month of use on an Alienware headset?  With tons of run around. Not happy!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi SheSwan having paid premium purchase it is shameful that Dell first responders do not use the established two year replacement process for accessories. The DELL agent should have created a same day Service Request within your online Dell account.

Please Sign In to your online Dell account to create Service Request with first line saying this is a Formal Complaint.

Dell AW510H Headset has a problem to fix under its 2‑year warranty.

Provide all the purchase information, invoice, photograph of packaging information and its warranty, etc.

Request escalation to senior Dell tier that is authorized to undertake review and instigate Dell AW510H Headset replacement. This will usually take about 10 working days. Within a few days, revisit your online Dell account to determine if senior Dell tier has been assigned the formal review.

Please click on Get Help Now icon on right hand side of this webpage, to request assistance under Dell warranty. Include your PC's system Service Tag.
