M11x R3, BIOS locked

Hello,

I have an Alienware M11x R3 and I am the original owner. I recently "upgraded" my BIOS from A04 to A05. I originally never had a BIOS password since I disabled that option and didn't have to use one to mess with the settings.

However, after installing the A05 BIOS it appears that the firmware came with a backdoor password that has been forced onto my system and I have no idea what the password could be.

I am now unable to change boot options and can not load windows onto my laptop since BIOS is locked.

I've been directed through the automated virtual DELL system to call the fee based out of warranty support system after providing my service tag.

I would like to say I should not have to Pay for a password that I didn't ask for or put on my computer. This seems like a ransom on my computer that I have owned for 9 years put on by DELL disguised as a firmware update. Surely, this is not the way DELL meant for this to work.
