m15 R2, exploded chip FLF0250

Hi,

I have a laptop that no longer turns on, it lights up and then turns off immediately. After opening the laptop bottom cover, there is a burnt and exploded chip P21 N03 FLF0250 located on the motherboard, my laptop has ProSupport Warranty that expires in 2024. Could someone assist me with a repair/replacement on this faulty motherboard?

Please use your Dell Account to contact Dell Product Support and request they raise a Pro Support Warranty fault ticket on your behalf. Tell them you can share images, and they will tell you how. The Dell fault ticket process will then activate Pro Support Warranty processing to provide a remedy of this fault.

This is a user to user discussion forum, not Dell Support. Hopefully, @DELL-Cares will get in touch, or you can click on Private Mail icon at top RH, to get in touch with them.

Hi Crimsom,
Thanks for your quick reply, I did as you advised and unfortunately the Dell system blocked me from looking at my own laptop product after signing in, really strange.

I will try your next suggestion and reach out to @DELL-Cares

Hi @NeedFix  you can also click on the Dell-Cares' link to send them a Private Message from within their user account. Dell-Cares will try and help you expedite the Pro Support Warranty service that you paid for.
