Hi @thatguy123  please run Check Disk to find and automatically fix any file errors on the OS(C:) boot drive. Disk Error Checking: How to run CHKDSK in Windows 11/10 (thewindowsclub.com)

Please download and run CrystalDiskInfo to check on OS(C:) boot drive health. Download - Crystal Dew World [en] (crystalmark.info)

Hi @thatguy123 if no Disk file errors found and Health status good, the intermittent fault was not revealed. The next step would be to try and find why disk was not detected by the system. Make a note of date and time if it happens again. Run Reliability Monitor to create timeline of events. Look for fault occurrence and what caused it. How to use Windows Reliability Monitor to identify software issues | Dell US

Hi @crimsom , it said no errors found. Does that mean my hard drive is perfectly healthy?

Hi @thatguy123 support for Alienware m15 R2 Storage says it supports two M.2 2230/2280 solid-state drives. You may decide to install the OS(C:) boot drive in the other slot.
