m15 R3, extremely disappointed with Dell quality control
Ordered US version laptop a month ago (shows us everything in order) received EU/UK international version with French keyboard and power packed and wrong internals.
Reordered a replacement they assured me they would leave a note to verify. Received 2 weeks ago. Wrong internals EU/UK version again.
Talked with them again for another 3rd replacement said "We can't ensure you'll get the right item" what kind of QA is that?
I told them I just want what I paid for. They promised me that a note would be on the order for someone to physically verify I had the US version and English keyboard and power brick this time. So I said okay.
Today my laptop arrives im excited since my money has been hostage a month now. And guess what! I open it and its a EU/UK version with French keyboard again! A 3rd time from Pennsylvania have you!
What is wrong with Dell? Why are they lying saying they will ensure and never check. Why is this so difficult. Im very disappointed and upset I give up.
Please everyone check your laptops when you get them the sticker on the battery pack and unit itself will say US only or UK or EU only. Be careful!

Have you tried getting a USA keyboard?
They're pretty cheap and are easy to install if you know what your doing?

If the keyboard is what's shown below, it's apparently the one that's shipping not just in Europe, but in the US as well.

In other words, what you received is correct.
It's not clear what you mean by "French power pack" since the AC adapter is world-wide -- did it ship with a cord and plug for a US-style socket, or not?

That is the keyboard shown which is incorrect because all the alienwares at my local microcenter do not have the French words on it at all. Plus under the laptop says for UK only. And the power-pack says For EU only.

Hi @ownagesoftx is there some reason why you did not order m15 R3 from Dell UK and thereby avoid the UK Custom's importation charges?

Hi @ejn63 there are different ac power cord terminations for the universal charger, that's why the ac power cord plugs into the charger.

My order was from dell in the US. My order is all US items. Why my unit says UK and EU only on the parts boggles my mind completely. I'm just curious if people would look at there power brick and laptop bottom what there's says.

Regardless of what the power adapter states, it's usable worldwide.
Did it, or did it not arrive with the correct connection for a US AC wall outlet?

Post a pic of the outlet connector so we or you can verify it’s a UK or US one.
