m15 R3, screen flickers when off or idle
My m15 R3 (less than a month old) has had an issue with the screen from day one that I hoped would have been resolved with bios updates, but no such luck. Whenever the screen has been off or idle for an extended time (about 15 minutes) or the power settings change (plug in or out), the screen flickers and a box of static appears onscreen (always in the same spot). Does anyone here know what the issue is, and if there are any remedies?

Sounds like a driver problem.
Make sure you have the newest graphic drivers provided to your system on Dell's website.

* Click Windows icon
* Click Intel Graphics Control Panel
* Click Power
* Under "On Battery", change Panel Self-Refresh to Disabled
* Click Apply
* Click "Plugged In", if listed change Panel Self-Refresh to Disabled
* Click Apply
* Close the Intel Graphics Control Panel and retest

Hi @TechMeisterP from your description a tile in your screen's panel has a manufacturing fault. This hardware fault cannot be fixed and will get worse. If within 30 days of invoice, you should reject your m15 R3 and request a new replacement or a full refund.
