m15 R4 vs x15 R2, Tron Light brightness

It's Christmas and my son received his first Alienware! (x15 R2) However, In comparison with my laptop (m15 R4) the Tron lighting in the back seem to be much dimmer on mine vs my son's. Is the LED brighter on the x15 laptops vs the m15's lighting? The keyboard and AlienHead logo are the same brightness, the only difference is the bottom ring lighting.

FX in Command Center is set to full brightness and dim mode is turned off.
