Hi @Besheer  please clarify if black screen is permanent, or only transitory after sleep mode. 

What is the Windows version on the Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5 laptop? Thank you.

Run these commands in the command prompt as an administrator and see if that fixes it.

sfc /scannow

chkdsk /r

chkdsk /f

The black screen is permanent after sleep mode and I have to restart the device for the screen to turn on, I'm using Windows 11

Did you follow my commands I replied with that you're supposed to enter in the command prompt as an admin.

And did you download this driver to see if it fixes the issue?

I'm having the same issue, did you manage to fix it? it happens to me out of the blue the screen suddenly turns black and ill have to force restart. Very annoying since I end up losing data on files im working on 

I'm having a similar issue, except my black screen occurs randomly and I have o force restart for it to come back

I am having the same problem. The screen will just go black with the laptop still running. I have to hold the power button to do a force restart. it has happened 4 times now and twice in a row 20 minutes ago. 

Same problem, I can be doing anything and working on anything and the screen goes black and the laptop locks up.  Force restart every time and it happens multiple times a day.  

One of the main causes for this issue is a corrupt system file preventing the operating system from loading, resulting in a black or blank screen. Restart Windows to see if it's a temporary issue and resolves itself with a reboot. If the problem persists, erase your hard drive and reinstall Windows.
