m15 R5, Windows power button, no sleep mode

Why will the m15 R5 not go into sleep mode when the Windows power button on the screen is selected to sleep? The only way the m15 R5 will sleep is if you push the physical Alien head on the m15 R5 itself. I've tried everything in power settings and device settings and nothing will work.
