This is my bad experience. I have an Alienware m15 R6 NVDIA edition laptop. I bought this computer on August 10, 2022. When the dell warranty was about to expire in September 2023, the laptop started having problems with many screen related problems. I asked for support, and they said my warranty had expired and I was forced to purchase a premium warranty extension until 2026 because I suspected this machine would have problems in the future.

About 5 months ago, I started encountering random BSOD errors during boot and normal usage. Initially, I thought it was a Windows issue, so I performed clean Windows installations from multiple sources. However, the problem persisted, and I even experienced BSODs during Windows installation attempts, indicating a hardware issue. R16 Blue Screening on Idle - About 90% of the BSODs occurred when I started my laptop after it had been idle for many hours or when there was minimal load on the system. I'm curious to know if others have faced similar issues. I've come across multiple related posts on Reddit where people describe experiencing the same problems. Just for this error, my all working projects are lost, not only this my some projects files are damaged or corrupted. I lost my contracts due to this bad product I lost many thing. I contacted Dell Technical Support Service Department. They are providing Chat Support. When I contacted them and sent Blue Screen error image they gave various tips. All the time they gave me different tips and steps to solve the problem. I did exactly what they want. I have sent them all analysis reports, Debug reports, Bug Reports, Driver Details, all the details whatever they want. But Dell Engineers are not able to solve this problem. Now I realize that they knew very well that their products are faulty. No one is able to solve such normal issue. So they started giving excuses.I just do excel word google chrome and no game no designer software I am waiting for the permanent solution. Otherwise please take your laptop and give back my all money. <No. Refunds are only given inside the FIRST 30 days from the Dell invoice date. DELL-Admin>

On Oct 2023 when my laptop has expired for premium warranty, I no longer receive repair support and I am forced to buy a 3 year premium support package with warranty period until Sep 2026 because I suspect this machine has a very serious problem and must repaired many times in the future. Once again the machine had problems

I have 3 problems with my laptop after 1 years bought it.

  1. The screen flashes on and off continuously
  2. All of my folders are in read only status. I cannot change to another status
  3. The Allienware command center cannot open

After many times reinstall driver and reinstall my window, I have to reset dell to factory manner. They suggest

  1. Update system BIOS driver
  2. Update the Intel Graphic driver and restart:

Feb 19, 2024 Laptop automatically shuts down, blue screen appears and many dump files appear. They asked me to reinstall the NVIDIA driver as required and continue monitoring

I chatted with a supporter and called the support phone number and was asked to install all kinds of drivers and then a technical person asked me to continue reinstalling Windows 10. This is the last time I reinstall anything. I have to find the solutions by myself and I realize that I'm not alone, many customers have the same problem as me

Customer service in Australia is very bad. I have asked many times for home warranty to come to my house and fix it for me, or I took the device to the Dell center for repair but they did not accept it. Forcing customer with no IT expertise as me or my parents who don't know how to repair computers to install drivers and install windows ask the customer ensure that the Boot settings and SATA operations are correctly configured for this process. Dell’s outsourced and inexperienced junior cheap technical support in Indian and cheap developers are releasing useless “security fixes”, you would end up with an unusable machine, meaning random BSODs, black screens or not able to power on at all.

Noted: I purchased a Dell Alienware m15 R6. Since I purchased I started facing some issues. And now I am facing many technical problems. For the last 3-4 months my laptop throws Blue Screen Error and then restart. Just for this error, my all working projects are lost, not only this my some projects files are damaged or corrupted. I lost my contracts due to this bad product I lost many thing.

This is the way Dell support help customer solve problem. They ask non-tech customer do reinstall OS reboot as an technical

This is coming from 18-year-old customer who has purchased over 2000 computers Dell/HP/Lenovo. 

I am IT admin and primary purchaser of Dell products. The logs you have shared do not help as they point to exact file/dll/service. If you can't debug mini dump. Just download freeware like Whocrashed

It will read the memory dump automatically and will tell more about the error. Now to me it looks like a hardware issue. 

- Do not use Chat/Email Support for critical issues. These support options are good for quick queries. For troubleshooting phone support is the best. 

- Clearly a hardware issue if you are facing it for so long. invest a weekend for the. Take a data backup. Call phone support. 

- Inform them you are facing it for so long and willing to reinstall OS. This way you can skip an hour long troubleshooting session. Because it won't fix the issue and they will insist on reinstalling the OS any ways. 

Let them reinstall OS the way they want to.  Obviously, it will not fix the issue and since the operating sytem is reinstalled they will have to replace the hardware. 

option 2 : Simply tell them the whole history and ask for a Depot repair. Much better than investing time on the phone. Depot team, runs their diagnostics using their special tools and replaces whichever part needs to be replaced.

@takerukid​ Yes that's the case with any company out there, 

In some cases (with me) they made exceptions for a few more weeks (2 months refund). I'm not sure what your service tag's age is.  so I can't comment. 

Repair and part replacement will be done as long as the issue was reported within warranty and the case is open, they will have to support. 

Go to the route I suggested above and get them to replace Motherbaord (Most likely the issue)  before warranty runs out
