My laptop has shown multiple types of issue during the last 8 months.
Since it's in warranty the company has agreed to replace those parts with refurbished parts per the warranty stipulations. But the refurbished parts aren't reliable themselves and the laptop even had a manufacturing defect on its body (agreed by the company). So I am afraid that more issues will crop up after my warranty expires. I told them to replace my product but they refused. I don't believe that product is reliable as it has stopped working at important times twice. What should I do?
Details on issues:
My first problem resolved itself (my keyboard suddenly stopped working for a few hours).
Second time there was a manufacturing defect in LCD bezel lock (isn't noticeable so took time for me to notice it) and my laptop was not powering on (their engineering came and fixed it by unplugged and re attaching it, they ignored the defect saying it's my fault somehow).
This time again same laptop not powering on issue. Engineering has not arrived yet but they now agree to that bezel manufacturing defect and will replace the screen. For power issue they are saying they will replace the motherboard.

Hi @aditya1271 welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
The Dell warranty is being applied so there is little to complain about. Getting extended Dell warranty would be prudent.

My demands were denied by saying it's company policy. So i have decided to file a case in the consumer court. For the same please give me written proof of the following said policies to justify the claims that have been made along with how i, as a customer, was made aware of said policies before the purchase:
1) Dell uses only refurbished motherboard as replacement part (and doesn't use new part) even while the laptop is under warranty
2) Dell will not replace laptops which have gone through international ownership transfer.
3) Dell will not replace laptops which are 8 months old.
4) Replaced parts irrespective of their type ( new or refurbished) share the warranty with the rest of the parts ( i.e if replacement is done on the last date of warranty then the next even the replaced parts aren't under warranty in case there is something wrong with them).
