m15 R6, three external monitors?
I'm buying an Alienware m15 R6 with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 8GB and i7-11800H (2022).
I would like to know how many monitors I can use? Nowadays I use 3 outside monitors + the laptop one, totaling 4. Is it possible to use 3 in this laptop? Because I've realized that the new one, with 4070 and i9 (2023) has more connection making it easier to use with HDMI + 2 USB-C Thunderbolt.

While it should be possible to connect three monitors and use the internal display, bear in mind that Dell does not support docking stations with Alienware notebooks at all. If you're looking for official support for a dock and external displays, you'll do better buying a Precision 15" notebook rather than an Alienware system.

@ejn63 So, if i buy a dock station and connect it into the USB-C port, I cant use 2 monitors on it?

@lethf As ejn63 stated, Dell cannot know if this is possible because we do not validate Alienware with docks.

Hi there,
I am currently using my Alienware M15 R6 with 3 monitors. A couple of weeks ago, I was connecting the monitors through DP and HDMI, and the third one casting over my galaxy tablet. A few days ago, I bought a docking station and it is working perfectly. My two monitors are connected via docking station and I am still using my tablet. I will try connecting a third monitor directly to my laptop and will let you know how it goes.
