m15 R7, micro-stuttering / audio glitch on desktop
Ok this is literally driving me crazy, this week I started having these "audio" glitches, and if there's video playing I notice the stutter there as well, this happens everywhere, Chrome, Spotify even Windows sounds.
I am not entirely sure what's going on, I am always installing every update I see so this could've been some of it.
I am just really mad because I bought this 54 thousand pesos laptop last November expecting some top tier quality and now I'm experiencing this? Come on. I would really appreciate help.
Stuff I've tried with no luck;
-Uninstalling SupportAssist
-Uninstalling Command Center
-Uninstalling Killer WiFi thing
-turning off hybrid GPU
-disabling windows GPU scheduling
Extra notes;
-This happens both with external monitor and only the laptop
-If I let a YT video playing, every 10min~ I notice that stutter on audio and video and there's no high consumption on Task manager graph

When you uninstalled Support Assist did you make sure that there weren't any other programs left that were associated with it. I had this exact issue with my Aurora R15 and I uninstalled SA but it kept happening. Then, I went back into Uninstall a Program and noticed that there were two more SA programs listed. Once I removed these the stuttering went away.

Hi @RazielCR welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
Users should only update a BIOS version if it provides an additional hardware function, that is required by the user. Installing a BIOS version update, just because Dell provides an update, should always be avoided.
The opening post does not share the current BIOS version that was installed, Alienware m15 R7 System BIOS | Driver Details | Dell US.
If user is unable to downgrade their BIOS version, please Contact Technical Support. Request online session so that Dell can downgrade BIOS version. User may be asked to reveal why the current BIOS version is not fit for purpose.
