m16 R1, cannot update BIOS
i cant update my bios to latest version. i have 1.19. when i try it stays black for ten minutes then i power it off and boots ok. it is december 1st 2025 and i tried several times no sucess thanks mike

Are you using Support Assist to install the BIOS or going through the Dell website?
I would suggest to go through the website as I've seen some people in the past have troubles trying to update it using SA.
It looks like there have been quite a few BIOS updates since 1.19 so my suggestion would be to install a few of the earlier ones before jumping straight to 1.29, This could possibly be your issue as jumping ahead 8-9 versions ahead can sometimes cause some problems.
As always, update your BIOS at your own risk. Make sure you aren't going to lose power to the system during the update.
