m16 R1, ram upgrade, #2
I was wondering what is the maximum frequency of ram supported by my alienware m16 r1 i9 13900hx rtx 4090. I decided to upgrade it from the 32gb at 4800Mhz by Dell to 64gb at 5600Mhz by Kingstone or Crucial. As specified by Dell, the maximum supported is 5200 but someone sad that it can also run at 5600/5800 with XMP. I'm trying to figure out what type of ram i could run on my pc. Remember that is 64gb. thanks.

Both vendors have memory configurators for selecting compatible memory. Crucial's is linked below.

I try both crucial 32gb 5600 and Kingstone Fury 5600 with the same i9 rtx 4090 , both fail to boot.
Today I would try hynix 32gb 5600mts I hope that works cause is the same brand and model form the original 16gb 5600mts .
I will post the result soon.
