m17 R3, battery problems and MANY MORE
Ok, there are several problems that I have on the list that are happening to me. Starting off, I have a 2020 m17 R3, I got it in the summer of that same year. So I am not yet a year with her.
Now, the problems;
1. It has already happened to me on a couple of occasions where when turning it on, it throws me a message in the BIOS: WARNING: The battery cannot be identified. The system will be unable to change this battery.
After hitting Ok, enter the Window and act like nothing.
2. Also being the battery, it has happened to me on several occasions that I am playing or doing something, and out of nowhere the LED lights on the keyboard turn off, and the LED starts to change colors, specifically from red to blue. When I see the symbol of the battery, it appears that it is 100%, but when I click it, it says that it has 255% plugin in. In the times that it has done this to me, it is connected to the charger. I unplug it and restart it, and it's back to normal.
3. I always get a "Optimize PC" and "Drivers and Updates" message. I click them and they send me to the Alienware Assistant, the problem is that it does not load me, it opens the application but it remains blank and does not let me do anything else. So look for the latest updates on the official website, download and install them. But whenever I turn on the laptop, it throws these messages at me.
4. The Alienware FX does not update, whenever I open it and it tells me that it has an update, I give it to update, about 20 seconds later it throws an error that it could not be updated that I try later. In turn, if I try to do something, modify the fans, sound, or something else, except the LEDs, it does not let me do anything, even sometimes, nor do they load me with any of the options.
So far those are the things he has. And despite all that it continues to work as normal, but it still worries me, since obviously it is not normal. Another thing, this is already a doubt, not a problem, I want to give it an "upgrade", because it only has a 515GB SSD, and I want to buy a 1T, but I'm not sure if I can open the PC without affecting the warranty , also which SSD should I buy exactly.
If someone can help me, especially with the 4 problems I have, please, it is the only PC I have, and it is not only for games, but also for my studies and work.

Hi @Shoto MD welcome to this user to user discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
Not sure why Dell Support is not assisting you during your warranty term. Taking time to number list of Questions is appreciated, and here are the Answers:-
(1) Warning is from the ac adapter to laptop handshake, which checks that battery is a genuine Dell OEM battery. If battery is being charged, this warning message is erroneous. The ac adapter and/or laptop electronic components have a fault.
(2) this problem only occurs when connected to ac adapter. (1) and (2) indicates that the ac adapter may have a fault and should be replaced.
(3) SupportAssist may want download and installation to restore its correct function, messages are not helpful. Never allow SupportAssist to try and install any Dell update over the internet, you will brick your system. Always go to m17 R3 Drivers & Downloads to download and save onto system, check update file integrity, install, Restart (not Shut Down). Try not to update BIOS, Dell is responding to Intel CPU vulnerability and disabling gaming laptop functions.
(4) Unlike automatic Windows Update, Dell updates require manual intervention and you can choose to update or not. If AWCC + OC Controls are working, never update the New AWCC AlienFX 2.0 application.
(5) Dell expects users to upgrade components and opening the rear panel does not invalidate the Dell warranty.
(6) m17 R3 Storage says install PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe drives. If updating OS(C:) drive, clone to new 2TB or 1TB M.2 2280 ultrafast NVMe drive. The new drive vendor will provide free cloning application and instructions. If installing a second NVMe drive for storage, could get fast or ultrafast and more than 1TB. For example: Corsair database will recommend what storage capacity the m17 R3 system can accommodate. As part of your disaster Recovery Plan, always create a standby clone just in case the original becomes unrecoverable. Swap in OS(C:) standby clone to get your system up and running within minutes.

I wanted to consult another question, I just saw that the laptop has two storage units of 256 "(2x256 PCIe M.2 SSD) RAI D0" this is how it is described in the specifications, I will buy a 1T SSD, the one you had specified for me (Dell M.2 PCIe NVMe Class 40 2280 Solid State Drive - 1TB). I read about storage in the computer documentation, but I still wondered if I can keep both units equally, plus add the new one.
Additionally, whether you can do that or not, what would be the procedure when placing a new storage unit.

Sorry to bother you so much, but I just want to be sure, does this memory work for me?
