m17 R3, beeping noise
I need help figuring out why my (out of warranty July 2022) m17 R3 is making beeping noise? I tried power draining but it doesn’t help. Had my m17 R3 for about 3 years and I’m confused as it was just working any solutions?
The first sound is like three piano keys and rings 3 times
Pauses then it beeps 3 times
Pauses then 2 times
Pauses one last time and repeats
Also my screen is off so I can’t tell if it’s even on I have it hooked to my monitor but nothing

Three beeps is usually a mainboard error -- could be a host of causes. Two is usually failure to recognize memory and is likely tied to the first error.
The mainboard needs to be replaced.

I could see that being an issue I’m curious is it cause of the age or some third party.
Also where it says “Pauses one last time and repeats” I meant to add “Pauses and beep one last time and repeats”

It sounds like there's more than one issue with the board -- but the three beep code and the single beep code are both indicative of failed components on the system board. Just to cover all the bases, be sure you have reset the system -- disconnect the power adapter, disconnect the battery from the system board and hold the power button for 30 sec. The memory on this system is not removeable, so then reconnect everything and try powering up. If the system won't power up, you'll then need to evaluate the cost of a replacement board against the cost of a new system -- depending on the CPU and GPU on the board, the cost can be as little as $300 or over $700, so it's not an inexpensive component to replace.
