m17 R3, Killer AX1650x, shown as not connected to device 'Code 45'

Hello,
My alienware m17 I got back in May 2020 seems to be acting strange. I turned it on today and no Wi-Fi network was showing up. I could only connect to ethernet. I checked device manager, and my wifi adapter would not show up. When I checked to show hidden devices, it showed up, with the error message

"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)"

I've tried everything I've found (the guide on killer's website, downloading drivers from dell.com, reinstalling UWD network performance suite) but it hasn't worked. Any ideas?

Hi @anzarkhan  your Device Manager says Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650x card has Error Code 45. The software checks have been undertaken, but this problem was not fixed. For the hardware checks, please take a look beneath the rear panel. Card may have a plastic guard, is dual band and will have two press on wires, Black on Main 2 and White on Aux 1. Check that these wires have not become detached. Carefully lift both wires off the card studs, see image. Remove the securing screw and remove the card. Use a dry flint free cloth (no water, no solvent) to clean the card's electrical terminations. Use a bright light to look at system board's slot and remove any debris, dust, etc. Visually check the black and white wire terminations. If everything looks ok, carefully reassemble back into m17. You have now checked the physical attributes of the W-Fi card and are ready to switch on the m17 to see if this device is detected. Please post a Dell Community update. Thank you.
