m17 R5, Raid mode unavailable in Bios

As described, Raid isn't a option in BIOS. There is no way to change the SATA operation from ACHI to RAID mode. Only ACHI is available I have two 1TB M.2 in the laptop but can't seem to get it on RAID mode.

Hi @DiddyInAHellcat welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum.

Does your m17 R5 Advanced BIOS tab have SATA Operation option of [RAID on], see following image.

Hi @DiddyInAHellcat please note my link to your BIOS file is from Support for Alienware m17 R5 AMD Drivers & Downloads. Please download BIOS file onto your system and verify file checksum value to ensure the integrity of your download. Download BIOS file to a USB drive should be avoided. Thank you.

Hopefully this can be fixed with a BIOS update because I'm not the only person with this issue and it's very disappointing to not have this option after it being advertised as a feature during CES back in January
