m17 R5, reassign keys, how do I do this?

I have an Alienware m17 R5 laptop and the keyboard layout is anti-productive. I need the home, end, and del keys to work without needing to press the function key. AWCC used to have feature that allowed key remapping. Why in the world do they remove feature? We should see more feature as time goes on, not less. I do see that the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center allows key remapping. Does that software work with the Alienware m17 R5 laptop?
