Run the Dell diagnostics to see what hardware has failed. An 9 year old laptop is probably ready to be replaced by a new computer.

Diagnostics come up fine, when I try to install the initel management engine driver it says device not supported and the integrated graphic and sound chips dont work.

Where are you downloading the driver from? You have to make sure it's the right one for your laptop.
It could also be an issue with your CPU or possibly the Motherboard.

I know its the right driver as it is from the oem driver dvd, problem is in the bios under ME version it say unknown.
