Motherboard
I have an alienware m17x R4 and the motherboard has bombed out and i need a replacement.
Would it be possible to run an external motherboard as apparently i cant fit a different motherboard in that chasis.
if i cannot run another motherboard externally, does anyone know where to find a replacement of the original motherboard as i have looked and came up empty.

It is not worth the expense of replacing a motherboard on a 7 yr old laptop even if you could find one. Consider buying a new computer. You would have to buy a used motherboard from unknown sellers that might not work.

Alright thank you.
I was hoping for a better solution than to just scrap the computer, but i do see what you're getting at.
