Hi,

Just to confirm, you had the boot mode set to UEFI first correct? In the Bios, go to Advanced, Integrated Devices, SATA operation/mode and try switching it from Raid to AHCI or vice versa. Also, check that your HDD/SSD is being properly recognized in the Bios main menu.

The HDD can recognized when first time boot the laptop(with sound du..du.. du..continuely). After “ press any key for reboot device “ , the bios can’t recognize the HDD and the sound just gone.

MY R4 did the exact same thing. I was able to get it going and recover some data after a period of trying everything I could think about or read on web about the issue. BUT even after a HD replacement they still ended up replacing my system as it was crashing constantly and I have a way of getting on your nerves when I give you as much cash as I gave them and you send me a **bleep** in a case. All that said the replacement was a upgrade and has been great.

Man I hate to say it but DO NOT try to get it going yourself if your Dissertation is in that HD !!!!! I was student myself and payed my way too , i know cash has to be tight but please go pay someone to recover it then worry about the system afterwards. Raise 9 kinds of **bleep** with DELL about it, I did, but I did because I was right. THIS IS NOT A ISOLATED CASE of this failure and they know all about it do not let them B.S you....little College pun/punage there , just trying to cheer ya up a tad . I know this is not what you wanted to hear but it is 1000% the truth. Absolutely identical issue.

@MinGncl

Send me a video via a PM. Also, run the PSA/Diagnostic test from the Boot menu and confirm if you receive any errors.
