Premium Alienware Laptop Facing Repeated Hardware Failures

Hello everyone,

I am looking for advice and hoping a Dell moderator can assist with my case.

I own an Alienware laptop that cost approximately a bomb and unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.

The sequence of issues I have experienced is as follows:

• The laptop initially suffered from a camera malfunction.
• The camera was replaced, but the issue remained unresolved.
• The motherboard was subsequently replaced.
• After the motherboard replacement, I began experiencing:
  • Significant performance degradation.
  • Screen glitches and instability.
  • Intermittent blank display during startup.
• I was advised to perform a clean Windows installation, but the issues persisted.
• I have now been informed that both the motherboard and the LCD display require replacement once again.
  
  

  At this stage, I have completely lost confidence in this product. Repeatedly replacing major components is not a permanent solution, and I do not believe the laptop will be reliable in the long term.

  I still have all the original packaging, accessories, and documentation supplied with the laptop and am prepared to return the complete unit if required.

  Considering the repeated failures, the replacement of multiple critical components, and the significant inconvenience caused, I request Dell to provide a permanent resolution by either:

• Replacing my laptop with a brand-new unit of the same specifications, or
• Refunding the full purchase amount.

Additionally, I have found communication with the support team extremely difficult. Many of my emails have gone unanswered, and it is equally difficult to reach support over the phone, with most calls failing to connect. This has only increased the frustration and inconvenience of an already prolonged service experience.  

I hope Dell will take this matter seriously and stand behind the quality of its premium products. As this laptop is essential for my professional work, I would appreciate an expedited resolution.
