x17 R1, black screen
Hey,
I have recently changed the Enable hybrid graphics/ advanced optimus option in BIOS to disable to get full access to the GPU. After this, when I turn on my laptop, a black screen appears and nothing is displayed as seen in the picture. Please advise.

Have you tried resetting the BIOS? Remove the back cover and wait at least 1 minute then reinstall the cover. A little information from the manual:
NOTE: This computer is designed without an RTC coin cell-battery. After a service incident where the computer battery is
disconnected, when the battery is fully discharged, or when the computer is reassembled and turned on, an RTC reset cycle will
occur. When an RTC Reset cycle occurs, the computer turns on and off three times. An "Invalid Configuration" error message
is displayed prompting you to enter the BIOS and configure the date and time. The computer starts functioning normally after
setting the date and time.
NOTE: Removing the battery resets the BIOS setup program's settings to default. It is recommended that you note the BIOS
setup program's settings before removing the battery.

Do you have an external monitor or ability to borrow one?

Hi @Vinayak97 !
I hope I can assist with the issue today you're having!

For this issue I'd recommend doing a hard reset on the laptop by holding the power button until it abruptly turns off.
Then I would open up the back panel with a phillips head screw driver and disconnect the internal battery connector from the board (it should look like a mini 24 pin connector with colorful wiring and a white tip.)
Finally I would hold the power button for
