x17 R1, use a 240w?
Alienware x17 R1. Came with a 330w. Can I use the 240w? Will it work on an airplane?

If you disable the discrete GPU, you can probably run the system on 240W -- that said, most plane power sockets can't deliver 240 W - they max out at 100W or less.
