Does AppSync support combined VNX and XtremIO applications
I am looking at a scenario where an application may have data residing on two types of arrays, in this case a VNX and an XtremIO. The situation would be some of the LUN's for the database reside on an XtremIO array, and other LUN's reside on a VNX.
If I want to create local replicas of the database, will AppSync support that situation, i.e. create snapshots on both the VNX and the XtremIO that are consistent copied

Currently it is not supported.
Just trying to understand the situation of why we have data on two arrays for a single database.

Thanks for your response. It is more hypothetical right now. The customer is thinking of putting portions of the database not requiring high performance on the VNX, everything else on the XtremIO. So I guess the example might be put archive logs on slower storage, the rest on XIO.
