I have a few copies which I want to get rid of. Do I just go into the service plans, select copies, click on copy, click on expire?

Yes, clicking expire will remove the copy, and allow storage to reclaim space.

Good to know..I have always wondered how to do that. I have many copies from achieveessays which need to be deleted. Thanks!
